A full-service lodge just half a block from the Oak Street chairlift two blocks from main street in the town of Telluride the Ice House offers casual and comfortable accommodations in European alpine style. Stairs and an elevator ascend from the ground-floor entrance to the lobby, which is furnished with simple Southwestern pieces. The decor carries to the guest rooms, which contain king size beds and sleeper sofas or two full size beds, European comforters, custom made light wood furniture, and great mountain views from private decks. Thirty nine of the rooms have shower/tub combos with oversized tubs; three rooms have showers only. The one, two, and three-bedroom condominium units have full kitchens, washers and dryers, two bathrooms, and a large deck. Guests also have access to a nearby spa. The hotel also features a pool (half indoor and half outdoor), hot tub and steam room.
